This is Walt, the drummer Kevin's cousin.  The reason we named the band after him is because he was always telling Kevin that if he was going to go anywhere in music, that "your going to have to play what the people want to hear" such as Skynyrd or the Marshall Tucker Band.   Kevin's response to this is "Skynyrd got where they are playing their own stuff".  We thought this was funny so in honor of Walt, we named the band after him and are not playing "what the people(?) want to hear".
